How has my 20+ year journey in the world of hair and makeup been? Let’s just say it’s been full of passion, adventure, and a few surprises! It all started at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, where I discovered my love for hairstyling. After over a decade at an Aveda salon in Atlanta, perfecting special occasion styles and precision cuts, I added makeup artistry to my skills and fell even more in love with weddings.

Two small weddings of my own—one in Atlanta and one on Oahu—led to a big move. My husband fell in love with Hawaii during our Oahu wedding, so we sold everything and made the islands our home. It’s been the best decision for growing my career and raising my family in paradise.

I’m so grateful to do what I love every day here at Love and Beauty Maui, helping my clients feel radiant, confident, and beautiful on their most special days.

Hi there! I’m Becca, a licensed cosmetologist with a lifelong passion for makeup. Ever since I can remember, this has been my dream—and I’ve been fortunate to turn that dream into a career I truly love.

With over a decade of experience in the beauty industry, I’ve had the privilege of training with top brands and continually updating my skills with the latest products and techniques. Helping clients feel confident and beautiful is what inspires me every day.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my teenage daughter, who loves volleyball, or hanging out with my French bulldog, Mikonas. I also love relaxing at the beach and soaking up Maui’s natural beauty on my days off.

Hi there! I’m Sarah Ann, and I’ve been living my dream as a hairstylist for 17 years. My journey began at the International Academy of Cosmetology in 2007, specializing in Aveda hair color and makeup in Northern Florida. I later expanded my skills at Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas in Ft. Lauderdale, working with mentors from 5th Ave, New York, and gaining experience in the vibrant Miami fashion scene.

Inspired by continual learning and travel, my passion eventually brought me to Maui over a decade ago—a dream sparked during my East Coast surfing days. Now, I’m grateful to call this island home, sharing life with my husband and kids. To ensure availability for your special day, we recommend booking at least 6 months in advance, especially for weddings during peak season.

Yes! Our team specializes in both hair and makeup, and many of our stylists are skilled in providing both services, offering convenience and a cohesive look for your big day.

Absolutely! Our team is equipped to handle bridal parties of various sizes. Please discuss your needs with us in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Booking with us is simple and personalized! Start by filling out our inquiry form and sharing all the details you have about your vision—your style, wedding vibe, and any inspiration you love. We’ll confirm availability, provide a personalized quote, and guide you through the next steps, including securing your date with a deposit. We’re here to make the process easy and exciting!

Yes, we absolutely do—and we highly recommend them if you’re feeling nervous or want to perfect your bridal look ahead of time. Trials are a wonderful way to collaborate, see your full look come together, and make adjustments so you feel completely confident for your big day.

That said, we work with many destination brides who can’t schedule a trial, and it’s absolutely not necessary. Our experienced stylists will make sure your hair and makeup are exactly as you envision, even without a trial! Book one if it helps you feel more at ease, but trust that you’re in great hands either way.

We’ll arrive at your door about 15 minutes early to ensure we have plenty of time to set up. Typically, we start with makeup and then finish with hair. If you have a bridal party, we style the bride second to last—this keeps your look fresh without feeling rushed.

At the end, we’ll help attach your lei poʻo or veil, making sure every detail is perfect before we pack up and leave. Our goal is to keep things running smoothly and stress-free so you can fully enjoy your special day!

And that we were!The entire group’s experience getting their glam done was overwhelmingly positive, and everyone’s end results were absolutely stunning. I didn’t put any restrictions on what the bridesmaids (or our moms) could wear for hair and makeup, so each girl came in with different inspiration for different looks that they wanted, and each girl walked away feeling like their looks met or exceeded their expectations. In particular, my mom and mother in law’s makeup absolutely blew me away. They’re not women that typically wear a lot of makeup, and it was so special seeing them all done up, with fake eyelashes, looking the most glamorous and radiant I’ve ever seen them look.And as for myself, the bride, I can honestly say Nikki and her team made me feel the most beautiful I’ve ever felt. It wasn’t the type of makeup transformation that make me look like a totally different person, or that I was wearing loads and loads of heavy makeup that I wouldn’t typically wear, which I appreciated. I would also like to note that I cried *heavily* at several points throughout the ceremony and reception, and the makeup stayed perfectly without budging throughout the entire night.For my hair, I took Nikki’s advice and got in extensions to wear, so that my hair would hold a curl and have more volume. It turned out perfect. In preparation, I sent her a bunch of different inspo pics and did an amazing job of marrying them and choosing different elements from each picture to create the perfect style for my hair. I could not have been any happier with the results.And lastly, Nikki and her team were just awesome to hang with on the day. Who you surround yourself with on your wedding day can have such a big impact on your mental state, and all four of the artists were cool, sweet, and chill, which totally put me at ease. I really appreciated the fact that they were able to keep us all on schedule without being pushy or making the situation stressful. We did have one point in time that we realized we were a bit behind in schedule, due to my mom being late as a result of a family emergency. The team handled the situation like absolute pros, and made up for lost time by working on my hair and makeup simultaneously.
