When we walk in to a room, we never know who we are going to meet and a lot of our brides are eloping which means we are the only one with them for the getting ready process. We have found ourselves making pretty special connections with our brides because of this intimate time we share with them.

Annette was one of those brides, we arrived and instantly felt like friends. (Funny little side story, we had lunch right before heading to Annette and the food didn’t sit well with either of us, we were both in a panic and using a stranger’s bathroom in a hotel room with the groom on the bed is really awkward. We are pretty sure they knew what was going on on their toilet so we got real close real fast.)

Aside from Annette wanting our dream hair and makeup for her wedding day she had every detail nailed down to perfection. Not wanting her groom to see her before the ceremony, she had one obstacle, who was going to help her get it all on? That’s where we turned from beauticians to bridesmaids! We taped her pasty bra to her, crochet hooked the back of her dress, slipped her feet into her 5 inch stilettos, clasped her necklace and fluffed her train for the photos.

Annette will always have a special place in our hearts. We are so thankful for the relationships we make with our brides, it’s why we love what we do!
